giant cat project

i am very proud to be involved with the giant cat project in the city of london.  i shall be hanging the exhibition and donating two works to this delightful fund-raising project in aid of great ormond street hospital children's charity, which is in memory of a little girl called maymunah, just five years old when she died, who loved cats. a framed print of 'crow girl with cat and a new 'cat people' collage will be auctioned alongside many other works by shoreditch artists, including my dear friend mr martin, whose painting 'ginger and me' and joyce wan's collage 'the assistant' and all the other artworks will hopefully raise plenty of money. to see the project and to donate, please click here:
www.giantcatproject.com
the silent auction exhibition will be open for a week at st. botolph's church, aldgate high street, city of london, ec3n 1ab, near aldgate tube, with an opening night on monday 7th november from 6.30pm-8.30pm. bids can be made on the night or during the exhibition week.

kitty's dewberry fool

pick lots of dewberries, or blackberries if you can't find those, and simmer them to a puree with a little caster sugar and a splash of lemon juice then allow this to cool.
very carefully fold a small tub of whipped cream and the same amount of greek yoghurt into the puree to make a delightful violet swirl.  chill and serve in a champagne glass with a fresh dewberry garnish.  heaven.
